HOW TO JOIN

Joining Hour Nevada County is simple! Just follow the steps below. We ask all members for an annual 2 time-dollars per year (automatically deducted from your account at the end of one full year). We also ask individual members for a donation of $25 to help pay our TimeBank coordinator, rent, office supplies, website, CIMA insurance (members are all insured), materials, and fund HNC programs.

If you are an organization or business we suggest $40 annual donation. If you really want to support the ideals of Hour Nevada County we suggest doubling your donation. This will cover those who can not afford to make a donation at this time.

STEP 3 Orientation

To understand the responsibilities of TimeBanking, please watch this orientation video (please note this video has been provided by Hour Exchange, Portland, MN: one of HNC's TimeBank exemplary models). We also highly recommend attending one of our public orientations. Simply check out our Calendar of Events for details of when and where. This will serve you greatly in being able to fully utilize the TimeBank software! Or feel free to request a one on one orientation!

STEP 5 Annual Donation

We suggest $25 per Individual member or $40 per organization/business, annually. For those who can easily afford more, we encourage doubling that figure to cover our Membership Scholarships! If you are unable to donate, please email the office about Membership Scholarships

and other ways you can contribute. Whether you can donate now or not, you can continue your membership application!

STEP 6 Login

Now you can log into your Hour Nevada County account.

After orientation & account activation, click the Member Login button to access your account. There you can list your offers and requests and connect with other members. You may refer to this Software Guide or click [Help] wherever you are in the system for context sensitive help. At the bottom of each page you may [Contact Your Coordinator] or [Contact Tech Support].
